These mirror blanks are made from high quality, reflective grade quartz. They are thinner and lighter than their Pyrex counterparts, and will polish to a smoother finish for sharper images.
Quartz has a coefficient of thermal expansion six times lower than Pyrex, which means that as a quartz mirror cools down, it preserves the figure ground into it more accurately. Surface changes from heating and cooling are minimized, so a quartz mirror comes to equilibrium more quickly to maximize your viewing time.
These mirror blanks are shipped via UPS usually within one week of when the order is placed and PayPal payment is received. Mirror blanks can be shipped to the buyer or to any mirror maker of your choice.
